Hello! We are GOG and we own GOG.COM which enables direct activation feature that you’re going to use right now. We’re responsible for personal information you give us when you use GOG.COM, GOG Galaxy and other GOG services. We are based in Poland (ul. Jagiellońska 74, 03-301 Warsaw). GOG will collect personal data you give us when setting up a GOG.COM account, data about how you use our services and data from other partner distribution platforms if you use the GOG Direct to Account feature (described below). Speaking about account linking, we allow you to link your account on a partner platform (e.g. Humble) to your GOG.COM account in order to activate, directly on your GOG.COM account, content that you purchased on partner platforms without the need to redeem any codes or any other hassle! This feature is called GOG Direct to Account. We will receive only limited information about you through GOG Direct to Account (such as your platform ID, order details and your IP address) and we won’t have access to your credentials or game library. In order to complete the activation process (and remove the content in case of refunds), we will share with the relevant partner platform information about your user ID, username, possession of a game on GOG.COM and status of orders made by such partner platform. Besides account linking, we need your data in particular to provide you a GOG.COM account and related features like purchasing games, accessing your library and playing online with friends using GOG Galaxy and sharing your activities on user profile. Optionally, we may also use it to inform you about games on GOG.COM, our special offers and product recommendations based on your activity on our platform - in such cases we may profile your information to make our communications more relevant to you. We respect your privacy rights i.e. the right to access, correct and delete your data, limit its processing, transfer it and to object to the use of your personal data.
